Teesside University is poised to launch a new medical school in the Tees Valley, further solidifying its commitment to addressing regional health needs and bolstering the NHS's future. The institution recently earned a triple gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework and has been recognized as the Modern University of the Year 2026 by the Daily Mail, as well as being shortlisted for the Times Higher Education University of the Year 2025.
